Facts: Brought by the Romans to Britain, who used it in sauces, as an aid to digestion and as a mouth freshener, mint has been around for a very long time! It has a variety of uses, from mint jelly and sauces to cleaning wounds to a vermin deterrent – it is disliked by rats and mice! It is also a great natural cooling agent so is excellent for sunburnt skin!
Preparation & Cooking:Rinse before use. Mint can be used for jellies, sauces, put in with new potatoes to add flavour, or used to make a tea to settle an upset tummy.
